Questions, bugs or ideas? Email support@lockset.app. LockSet is made by one developer, who reads every message.
What to include
- Your phone or tablet model and its iOS or Android version.
- The LockSet version (at the bottom of Settings).
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps.
Never send your API key, backup passphrase or backup files unless you’re asked for a specific file.
Common questions
How do I restore my purchase?
Sign in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought Pro with, open LockSet’s Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. There’s no LockSet account, so the store is the only record of your purchase. Purchases don’t carry over between iPhone and Android.
How do I export my data?
Open Settings › Data & backup. Export backup (JSON) saves your plan, workouts and settings; Full backup with media (.zip) adds photos and videos; Export encrypted backup locks the file with a passphrase. You can also export the database file to open in a SQLite tool. Export is free on every plan.
Does LockSet back up automatically?
Yes, if you turn on Back up automatically after changes in Settings › Data & backup. After each workout or routine edit, a dated copy is saved and the latest few are kept. On iPhone the copies stay inside LockSet; on Android you can choose a folder that a sync app can reach. LockSet has no cloud of its own, so export a backup now and then to keep a copy off the phone.
How do I move to a new phone?
On the old phone, export a Full backup with media (.zip) and move the file to the new one (AirDrop, Files, a cloud drive or a cable). On the new phone, install LockSet and open Settings › Data & backup › Import backup. Importing replaces the data on that phone. This works between iPhone and Android too. API keys aren’t in backups, so paste yours again, and restore Pro from the same store account.
Can I import from another app?
Yes: from Strong, Hevy, FitNotes, gravl and JEFIT, or any CSV with Date, Exercise, Weight and Reps columns. Use Settings › Data & backup › Import from another app.
The AI assistant doesn’t answer.
Check that your key is pasted in Settings › AI assistant and tap Check connection. Most problems are a key without billing or credit, a key that expired, or a model your key can’t use. Anthropic keys must belong to a workspace. See How to get an API key.
How do I delete my data?
Everything is on your device, so you’re in control: Settings › Data & backup › Reset everything erases it, and so does deleting the app. LockSet holds no copy anywhere else. Backups you exported stay wherever you saved them.
